Choose the strap width and material
A wider strap provides more space for lettering and artwork, while a narrower strap offers a more discreet look. Material and surface affect comfort and printing options. If a specific recycled content matters, we review the available information and documentation for the chosen model.
Design your logo and message for the strap
A lanyard offers a long, narrow branding area. A legible logo, concise wording and suitable spacing are therefore important. Depending on the product, single-colour or multicolour artwork and single-sided or double-sided printing may be available. We check the appropriate method and adapt the layout to the strap width and attachment.
Which closure serves which purpose?
- Hook or clip: Connects the strap to a badge, sleeve or keys. The opening and item weight need to suit the attachment.
- Detachable buckle: Depending on the model, allows the lower section and attached item to be released while the strap remains around the neck.
- Breakaway closure: Is designed to release under pulling force. It serves a different purpose from a detachable buckle and is not included on every model.
- Two attachment points: Can help stabilise the orientation of a compatible badge sleeve. The strap and sleeve need to be matched.
For exhibitions, reception and employees
At events, a lanyard can identify team members and carry an access pass. Different strap colours can distinguish organisational groups. For daily use, we consider comfort, handling and your company’s requirements. If a particular closure is mandatory, we include this in the selection from the start.
